Never Give Up
The Republic of Moldova attended for the third time consecutively to the 26th Japanese Speech Contest among CIS countries’ students, which has been held on October 25, 2014, in Moscow, Russia. This contest was held in the great hall of the Russian State Library and there were 20 participants from 10 different countries (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan).

The 26th Japanese Speech Contest among CIS countries’ students has been held on October 26, 2013, in Moscow, Russia. It was the second time for the Republic of Moldova to participate in this contest.
Japanese-Language Proficiency Test 2014 (Nihongo Nouryoku Shiken)
The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) 2014 will be held on 1st December in Kyiv.

I like Japanese
This is the title of one of the winning short films submitted for the Japanese Video Contest. Its author is Liubov Zelinskaia (artforjoy.com), 1st year student at the Foundation for Moldovan-Japanese Relations. The main purpose of this contest is to increase people’s interest in studying Japanese in the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), and also exchange of information between specialized institutions and the enhancement of relationships regarding the Japanese language study in the CIS countries.
