Shota Mizutani 2008-2006

Shota san was one of the first Japanese I have met, who didn’t seem to be a typical one because of his European spirit and behavior. He was an exigent teacher and a friend with whom you could never be bored. I had the luck to know him beside Japanese classes, which he taught in an interesting way and actively implied in helping every student to whom studying Japanese was more difficult. With a high-developed sense of humor, he was always joking and making us feel comfortable in his presence. I liked listening to his stories about the countries he visited, hilarious or stupid experiences he had. After teaching at Foundation, Shota san continued to visit Moldova and the students who had become his friends were every time waiting for him. I hope he will be visiting us again and I will have the chance to speak to him in the next years.
